1. In general

These terms apply between Smålandet i Markaryd AB org.nr 559140-3406, and you as a customer when you book tickets or buy gift cards via the website smalandet.se.

Payment is securely done through Kustom Checkout (KCO).

2. Products and services

We offer:

  1. Tickets for guided moose safari by train at our address Misterhult 2032, 28591 Markaryd. Different trains can be used for the guided safari, and which train is used is determined shortly before departure time.
  2. Gift cards that can be used as payment for tickets, food, drink and souvenirs.

3. Booking and payment

  • Your booking becomes binding when the payment has been approved in Kustom Checkout.
  • At purchase, a digital ticket is delivered that guarantees access to the event.
  • Seat ticket (indicating which seats in which train apply) is assigned first at check-in.
  • Check-in must be done at least 20 minutes before departure and can be done:
    • In the souvenir shop, or
    • Online via "Manage my booking" on our website. To be able to check in online, you need to be at our address and have location services activated.
  • If check-in is not done in time, the seat can be left to another guest without a refund.

4. Prices and fees

All prices are stated in Swedish kronor (SEK) including VAT.

Any service fees are clearly stated before payment.

5. Cancellation and refund

5.1. Cancellation before 10.00 the same day

If you cancel the entire or part of your booking before 10.00 on the event day, you can choose between:

  • 80 % refund to the same payment method as used at purchase.
  • 100 % credit in the form of a gift card, which can be used for future bookings or purchases on site. If the booking was paid with a gift card, then the full amount is refunded to the same gift card.

5.2. Cancellation from and including 10.00 the same day

If you cancel at 10.00 or later, you can choose between:

  • Possibility to change to another event on the same day, in case of availability.
  • 80 % credit in the form of a gift card, which can be used for future bookings or purchases on site. If the booking was paid with a gift card, then 80 % of the amount is refunded to the same gift card.

5.3. Late arrival

If you arrive and check in later than 20 minutes before start, the reserved seat will expire, but you are offered free rebooking to another event on the same day, in case of availability.

5.4. Cancelled or changed event

If the event is cancelled or moved by the organiser, the entire ticket amount (excluding any service fees) is refunded. Cash refund is only possible in case of such organiser changes.

6. Gift card

  • Gift cards are digital and delivered via email after payment.
  • Gift cards can be used as full or partial payment for tickets, food, drink or souvenirs.
  • The gift card is valid for one (1) year from purchase date. Unused balance after the validity period expires without refund.
  • The gift card cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • No right of cancellation applies to gift cards because they are delivered digitally and represent a value bearer.
  • Lost, stolen or incorrectly handled cards are not replaced.

7. Personal data (GDPR)

We process your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The data is used to handle bookings, payments and any gift cards.

Kustom Checkout is a self-responsible data controller for payment information.

8. Security

All payments are made via Kustom Checkout, which meets the applicable security standards (e.g. PCI DSS). We have no access to your card or account information.

9. Liability and force majeure

We are not liable for damages or delays caused by circumstances outside our control, such as power outages, fires, strikes, natural disasters or technical problems with third parties.

10. Dispute and applicable law

Swedish law applies. Disputes that cannot be resolved in agreement can be appealed to the General Complaints Board (ARN) or general court.
