Willkommen zur Smålandet in Markaryd

Hir darf man mit seinem Wagen in ein großes Elchgehege fahren. Längs eines 3 km langen verschlungenen Waldweges können Sie den König der Wälder ganz aus der Nähe erleben! Im Jahr 2008 wurde der Safariweg noch erweitert. Jetzt gibt es die Möglichkeit, auch zu amerikanische Bisons zu fahren

Der aus dem 18. Jahrhundert stammende Hof liegt in einer wunderschönen Landschaft. Hier können Sie ein Elchwurst probieren, ein Café Latte oder etwas anderes aus dem Café genießen, während Ihre Kinder mit den Ziegen des Hofes herumtrollen.

The winners of Smålandets Photo contest 2011!!

First prize goes to Kent Carlson from United States in Maryland. That he wins the first prize is not hard to understand. Here he manages to capture a fabulous images with a feeling of freedom and the wild, which the moose symbolizes.

Second prize goes to Lis Nilsson from Markaryd not far from here. She has manages to capture the image of Harald during the mating period in autumn 2011 when he was crossing the road and stands in front of the car (wrong time to leave the car). If you look closely at his right antles, there is moss. This is typical mating behavior when bulls mark their territory and shows its strength by its antles.

Third prize goes to Roland Trojan from germany. The image is not unusual, but he manages to capture the tension between the man and the moose. The high quality and sharpness in the right place made the image to a winner.

The three best pictures will be awarded with a prize (1st price 2000:- 2nd priceprice 1000:- and 3rd 500:-) The pictures have to be sent to us before October 26th.
